It’s Saturday. Why Aren’t I On a Bike?

Right now it is Saturday morning, yet I am not on a bike? Oh–that’s right, I have already ridden 115 miles this week. I do not need to be a on a bike right now :)
That is just one of the many perks of bike commuting. Not only do you save the world, loose weight, save money, and justify an expensive habit, but you can easily fulfill your mileage quota before the weekend. This weeks commute was:

Monday: 35 miles
Wednesday: 40 miles
Thursday: 40 miles

I read somewhere it is about $0.50 to operate a car. Since my car commute to work is about 30 miles round trip, I figure all the money saved, which comes out to $15/commute, should go to my cycling habit. After 160 commutes on a bike, I will have paid for my new Litespeed Teramo.

PS: I will probably be on my bike tomorrow morning. Going a weekend without riding is a sin afterall, right? My legs are just too bloody tired right now.
